Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Operations Engineering Technician Electrical supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK. The position supports engineers in the design, development, testing and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, including installation, troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance program implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for planning and design projects impacting existing facilities and infrastructure, ensuring government projects are completed and facilities are maintainable per contractual documents.
  • Provide input to Engineering regarding obsolete equipment replacement projects for Asset Management Plans (AMPs).
  • Develop knowledge of Sustainment Management Systems (SMS) used by the government (Builder, Paver, ACES IWIMS, TRIRIGA, Roofer) and update them with new equipment data.
  • Assist shop supervisors in planning their preventive maintenance program and improving AF PMTLs.
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), interface with customers and contractors, monitor work and enter results into government CMMS systems.
  • Leverage knowledge and experience in specialized electrical areas.
  • Report unique situations, safety, environmental and work‑related requirements to supervisors.
  • Perform maintainability, compatibility, and operability reviews for renovation and alteration designs.
  • Participate in Pre‑Final and Final Inspections for projects nearing Beneficial Occupancy Date (BOD) and address O&M concerns.
  • Attend O&M training for completed construction projects.
  • Provide equipment and life‑cycle costing data for out‑year maintenance planning.
  • Recommend modifications to existing equipment maintenance and repair schedules.
  • Understand principles of Predictive, Preventive and Reliability‑Centered Maintenance.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Access) to correspond via email and build/manipulate real property equipment databases.
  • Recommend facilities requiring assessments for upcoming years.
  • Ensure SMS database information supports the Maintenance Master Plan (MMP) with accurate equipment assessment data.
  • Provide technical support for infrastructure programs and AMPs through condition assessment reports.
  • Prioritize AMP data calls from higher headquarters.
  • Utilize technical manuals, shop directives, blueprints, diagrams, specifications and instructions.
  • Document records of inspections, maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Interface with customers and manage customer feedback.
  • Operate motor vehicles in accordance with company vehicle policies.
  • Comply with federal, state, USAF and OSHA environmental laws and regulations.
  • Follow health and safety rules and procedures, enhancing safety of the work environment.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined by duties.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
  • Accountable for accurate, timely, cost‑effective performance of duties.
  • Work harmoniously with customers and co‑workers.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all company‑related matters.
  • Account for assigned tools, materials and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of shop and work areas.
Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in Electrical or seven (7) years of verifiable journeyman experience in an Electrical field.
  • Oklahoma Journeyman’s License with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the applicable trade.
  • Current state driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of valid insurance.
  • Knowledge of industry standards for workmanship in construction & maintenance of facilities, grounds and infrastructure systems.
  • Working knowledge of site work, electrical and general facilities and maintenance activities in the Electrical trade.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications.
  • Problem‑solving ability and independence with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability to changes in technology and applicable facilities/infrastructure codes and standards.
  • Familiarity with facility/infrastructure codes, UFC and standards.
