Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Licensed Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This position requires a professional engineer (P.E.) licensed in the State of Oklahoma with strong project management skills, technical design expertise, and familiarity with relevant state and federal regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing civil engineering projects from proposal through completion and will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients across Oklahoma.
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects including planning, design, permitting, and construction oversight.
- Prepare technical reports, design calculations, specifications, and construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules; monitor project progress and performance.
- Coordinate with internal staff, subconsultants, regulatory agencies, and clients.
- Lead the preparation of proposals and statements of qualifications.
- Ensure project compliance with FEMA, OWRB, EPA, DEQ, USACE, and USFWS requirements.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, MS Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of permitting and regulatory processes involving OWRB, EPA, DEQ, USACE, and USFWS.
- Strong communication skills with experience in client interaction and proposal writing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience in the design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
- Experience in site development and stormwater management projects.
- Prior work with municipal, state, or federal clients in Oklahoma.
