- Lead project management and process design for new water/wastewater treatment facilities, lift stations, review existing water/wastewater treatment facilities, prepare reports for proposed equipment/systems upgrades and replacements, and present your findings to clients and regulatory agencies
- Conduct business development and develop client relationships in the water/wastewater industry
- Independently evaluate, select, and apply various treatment technologies, equipment, and processes to optimize performance or ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and apply the results to water/wastewater treatment plant configurations
- Develop specifications and drawings such as process flow diagrams (PFDs) and process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for senior drafting technicians
- Assess impact of changing DOH, EPA and MPCA regulations for specific client needs
- Travel to client and vendor locations for design reviews, field verification of designs, proposal presentations, and business development activities
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 10 years of experience in water and/or wastewater engineering in areas such as evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing municipal and industrial water/wastewater treatment facilities, lift stations, wastewater conveyance and water distribution systems
- 3 years of water or wastewater engineering project management experience
- Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work at a variety of locations
- Oklahoma PE license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
- The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains associated with construction projects
- Excellent organizational and communications skills
- A Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Proven business development experience
- Experience mentoring, developing, and mentoring staff

- Water treatment process design
- Well and pump house design
- Water Storage
- Biological nutrient removal
- Biosolids stabilization and processing
- Pilot testing
- Process modeling
- Advanced oxidation
- Reuse
- Ability to work 40 hours a week
- Ability to work in the posted location
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
