The Opportunity
  • Cenergistic is seeking a degreed Mechanical Engineer to support HVAC systems, building automation, and energy performance initiatives.
  • This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer eager to learn, contribute, and grow under experienced mentorship.
What You'll Do
  • Support development and implementation of energy conservation standards and best practices
  • Assist with HVAC, mechanical, and BAS system optimization efforts
  • Review control strategies and sequences of operation under guidance
  • Analyze HVAC and BAS data to identify performance opportunities
  • Support commissioning and measurement & verification activities
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and client stakeholders
  • Assist with technical reports and performance analysis
  • Participate in training and mentorship programs
  • Ensure compliance with codes and standards
  • Travel: 5-8%
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 0-2 years of experience or relevant internships
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems and thermodynamics
  • Familiarity with building automation systems is a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow under mentorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • EIT certification or progress toward FE exam
  • Internship experience in HVAC or building systems
  • Interest in energy conservation and sustainability
