The Opportunity

* Cenergistic is seeking a degreed Mechanical Engineer to support HVAC systems, building automation, and energy performance initiatives.

* This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer eager to learn, contribute, and grow under experienced mentorship.

What You'll Do

* Support development and implementation of energy conservation standards and best practices

* Assist with HVAC, mechanical, and BAS system optimization efforts

* Review control strategies and sequences of operation under guidance

* Analyze HVAC and BAS data to identify performance opportunities

* Support commissioning and measurement & verification activities

* Collaborate with engineering teams and client stakeholders

* Assist with technical reports and performance analysis

* Participate in training and mentorship programs

* Ensure compliance with codes and standards

* Travel: 5-8%

What We're Looking For

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

* 0-2 years of experience or relevant internships

* Basic understanding of HVAC systems and thermodynamics

* Familiarity with building automation systems is a plus

* Strong analytical and communication skills

* Willingness to learn and grow under mentorship

Preferred Qualifications

* EIT certification or progress toward FE exam

* Internship experience in HVAC or building systems

* Interest in energy conservation and sustainability
