Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for the E‑7 International Production Engineering team to support the technical statement of work in Oklahoma City, OK.
Position is expected to be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
Position Responsibilities- Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies
- Participates in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
- Develops, identifies, and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build
- Leads and implements manufacturing plans
- Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements
- Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices
- Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions
- Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule
- Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
- Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems
- Implements lean principles and technologies
- Reviews electrical design requirements and approves new releases and revisions to existing designs
- Reviews and implements non‑conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications
- Translates design requirements Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 3+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Medium knowledge of REDARS, GOLDesp, WIRS, Microsoft Excel (medium to advanced skills), IVT
- Ability to interact frequently with internal personnel and external customers
- Ability to represent the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
- Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, and develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
- Advanced knowledge of REDARS, GOLDesp, WIRS, Microsoft Excel (medium to advanced skills), IVT
The position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
