* + Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs

+ Analyzes results and performs design reviews

+ Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).

+ Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities

+ Develops basic statements of work

+ Participates in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection

+ Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design

+ Works under general direction

** Senior (Level
4)*
* + Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs

+ Analyzes results and performs design reviews

+ Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews

+ Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests)

+ Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities

+ Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets

+ Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection

+ Works under minimal direction

** Consultant (Level
5)*
* + Provides guidance in the development of cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs

+ Provides direction used by multiple teams to analyze complex results and performs design reviews

+ Provides guidance in engineering design disposition on discrepancies

+ Defines processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities

+ Provides direction used by multiple teams to develop complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets

+ Directs the technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection

+ Directs the development of functional and physical design requirements to ensure complete integrated design architecture

+ Assesses and resolves product/process issues through the product lifecycle

+ Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions

+ Directs cross-functional teams to analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances

+ Leads investigations into complex multidiscipline system related events

+ Uses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations

+ Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues

** This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.*
* ** Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):*
* + Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

+ 3+ years of experience in wiring design or electrical engineering

+ Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically

+ Familiarity with electrical system design principles, wire separation requirements, EME considerations, and relevant regulations for commercial and/or military agencies

+ 2 or more years of experience working in cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and release electrical system and wire harness engineering
