We are seeking an accomplished Head of Technology and Engineering to lead the creation of innovative AI-driven applications in the climate finance sector. This role requires a strategic leader with a robust background in AI and full-stack engineering to guide a dynamic engineering team through both early-stage development and company growth. You will play a critical role in defining the technical strategy and overseeing the successful execution and delivery of our products.

You will ensure our applications are reliable, secure, and scalable, while also promoting best practices and continuous improvement within our engineering processes. Ideal candidates will possess at least 10 years of experience in full-stack web development and AI/ML engineering, with a proven track record in managing engineering teams. A strong ability to integrate AI/ML services via APIs, and expert knowledge of large language model APIs, is essential.

Familiarity with modern web stacks and frameworks is required, along with strong system design and architecture skills. Your ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be key to your success.

While not essential, experience with financial data and documents, knowledge of RAG implementations, and a background in fintech or climate tech will be considered valuable assets. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about climate finance and sustainability, thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, and love tackling complex challenges using advanced technologies.
