Position Summary
Experienced Mission Systems Integration Engineer (Systems Engineer) (Level
3) to support the B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) in Oklahoma City, OK. Provides Mission Systems Engineering integration leadership for the CERP Avionics Subsystem, coordinating development of plans, procedures, and subsystem level testing.
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
- Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
- Performs various analyses to optimize total system architecture, including affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, security, product assurance and other quality factors.
- Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
- Resolves cross‑functional technical issues.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of engineering experience.
- 1+ year of airworthiness certification experience.
- 1+ year of requirements verification experience.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders and partners.
- 3+ years of experience in engineering project planning or project management.
- 2+ years leading a team or project.
- Broad experience in system design, development, integration, and test/verification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with DOORS and lab instrumentation.
Pay range: $104,550 - $141,450. Includes competitive base pay, variable compensation opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package such as health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, and paid/unpaid time off.
Location and Logistics100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. Requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
