Experienced Mission Systems Integration Engineer; Systems Engineer

Position Summary

Experienced Mission Systems Integration Engineer (Systems Engineer) (Level
3) to support the B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) in Oklahoma City, OK. Provides Mission Systems Engineering integration leadership for the CERP Avionics Subsystem, coordinating development of plans, procedures, and subsystem level testing.

• Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
• Performs various analyses to optimize total system architecture, including affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, security, product assurance and other quality factors.
• Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
• Resolves cross‑functional technical issues.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 1+ year of airworthiness certification experience.
• 1+ year of requirements verification experience.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders and partners.

• 3+ years of experience in engineering project planning or project management.
• 2+ years leading a team or project.
• Broad experience in system design, development, integration, and test/verification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with DOORS and lab instrumentation.

Pay range: $104,550 - $141,450. Includes competitive base pay, variable compensation opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package such as health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, and paid/unpaid time off.

100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. Requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
