JOB TITLE:
Support Engineering Data Specialist 2
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $45.00/hour
- Job Type: Contract (19 W, 3 D with potential for extension)
- Clearance:

- Develops and implements comprehensive DMSMS programs to proactively address potential material shortages and obsolescence issues.
- Collects and analyzes engineering data necessary for conducting thorough DMSMS analyses.
- Monitors and identifies risks and issues related to DMSMS that may impact program performance and aircraft readiness.
- Assesses potential impact of identified DMSMS risks and issues on current and future operations.
- Creates actionable recommendations and strategic roadmaps for DMSMS resolution aligned with program objectives.
- Interprets engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations concepts to develop support solutions.
- Develops support analysis, provisioning solutions, spares solutions, and maintenance and support technical data.
- Determines spares provisioning requirements and establishes recommendations for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking.
- Writes and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting and maintaining aircraft systems or components.
- Evaluates aircraft or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish maintenance concepts.
- Able to obtain a secret clearance post start.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in DMSMS and obsolescence management within aerospace or defense industry.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering data for DMSMS analysis.
- Knowledge of military aircraft systems and modification processes.
- Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance standards in aerospace industry.
- Experience with spare parts provisioning and supply chain.
- Ability to research parts and material data using databases and web searches.
- Familiarity with product support and maintenance concepts for military aircraft.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
