System Engineer
The opportunity:
Combine technical skills with big picture thinking to impact national security by supporting U.S. Air Force aircraft. Understand customers’ environments and develop systems that meet mission needs. Translate real‑world needs into technical specifications to deliver customer‑focused engineering solutions.
On our team you will shape the acquisition process by leading engineering sustainment projects and processes. You will design, develop, and evolve systems with advanced technology solutions, broadening your skills in aircraft acquisition, digital engineering, and artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities- Translate customer mission needs into technical specifications.
- Lead engineering sustainment projects and processes.
- Design, develop, and evolve aircraft systems with emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with senior government and Air Force officials to present solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry.
- Experience in Model‑Based Systems Engineering.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work confidently with and present to senior ranking government and Air Force officials.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Experience in life cycle management.
- Experience in airworthiness.
- Master’s degree in engineering.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must be eligible to access classified information;
Secret clearance is required.
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800 to $198,000 annualized USD.
