In this role, you'll work alongside industry partners to drive innovation and support the transition to greener infrastructure across the Central Plains & Southwest Region (Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico & Oklahoma). You are someone that sits within this territory and would be willing to travel about 50% to support customers and partners adopt warm-mix asphalt, liquid anti-strip, and rejuvenator solutions.
What You'll Do- Develop and execute strategies to expand the use of sustainable paving technologies
- Build meaningful relationships with agencies, contractors, and industry partners
- Help customers understand and apply the value of Ingevity's solutions in real-world settings
- Identify new market opportunities and contribute to regional growth
- Collaborate across teams to support customer needs, demonstrations, and project execution
- Provide hands‑on support during paving projects when needed
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and help partners find effective solutions
- Support adoption of product specifications and industry best practices
- Serve as a trusted resource and connection point between customers and internal teams
- Experience in asphalt materials, paving operations, civil engineering, or technical sales/marketing within the road construction industry, and a desire to apply that knowledge in a broader, more strategic way
- Understanding of pavement engineering concepts such as mix design (e.g., Superpave, SMA), asphalt binders, and familiarity with or interest in learning about warm‑mix asphalt technologies like Evotherm
- Comfortable with asphalt plant operations and paving environments, and understanding of how projects come together from design through construction and performance
- Experience partnering with Departments of Transportation (DOTs), public works agencies, contractors, or asphalt producers, or eagerness to build those relationships and navigate how public infrastructure decisions are made
- Ability to translate technical concepts (like mix performance, sustainability benefits, or specifications) into clear, practical value for different audiences
- Strong, trust‑based relationships with engineers, agency stakeholders, and field teams
- Approach challenges with curiosity and enjoyment of working through paving, mix design, or field performance issues alongside customers and partners
- Motivation to contribute to more sustainable infrastructure, including solutions like warm‑mix asphalt, recycling, and emissions reduction
- Comfortable balancing multiple projects and priorities across a region, and working in a role that blends technical and commercial responsibilities
- Open to traveling regularly (approximately 50% or more within your territory) to connect with partners and support projects in the field
