Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has a great opportunity for an Experienced Mission Systems Integration Engineer (Systems Engineer) (Level
3) to support the B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) in Oklahoma City, OK.
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
- Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces

- Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
- Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, security, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
- Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes
- Resolves cross‑functional technical issues
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5 or more years of engineering experience
- 1 or more years of airworthiness certification experience
- 1 or more years of requirements verification experience
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams
- Demonstrates critical thinking, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- 3 or more years of experience in engineering project planning or project management
- 2 or more years of experience leading a team or a project
- Experience in all stages of development including generating technical documentation, system design and development, integration of systems development, structured analysis and design methodologies, integration and test/verification
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
