Job Description:
Supports developing, analyzing collecting, and storing various system support technical data elements and specifications for evaluation and assists with making recommendations.
Supports providing recommendations on product supportability and establishing product supportability operational maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for a single equipment subsystem.
Assists with identifying and analyzing logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and report.
Supports determining spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for a single customer and contract type.
Participates in preparing technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/ components.
Supports reviewing aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability.
Establish DMSMS Programs:
Develop and implement comprehensive DMSMS programs to proactively address potential material shortages and obsolescence issues.Gather Engineering Data:
Collect and analyze engineering data necessary for conducting thorough DMSMS analyses.Identify DMSMS Risks and Issues:
Monitor and identify risks and issues related to DMSMS that may impact program performance and aircraft readiness.Evaluate Impact:
Assess the potential impact of identified DMSMS risks and issues on current and future operations.Develop Recommendations and Roadmaps:
Create actionable recommendations and strategic roadmaps for DMSMS resolution, ensuring alignment with program objectives and stakeholder requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex engineering data.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in project management and problem-solving methodologies.
Experience in DMSMS and obsolescence management, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
Familiarity with military aircraft systems and modification processes.
Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance standards in the aerospace industry.
