This role reports directly to the Senior Leader of Design Practices, Processes & Compliance and supports the BGS Core Engineering team. The selected candidate will develop and deploy engineering quality and compliance initiatives that support capability teams across the BGS Engineering value stream.

• Lead and support integration of Boeing Quality Management System (QMS) principles into engineering capability team processes.
• Apply knowledge of AS9100D and QMS standards to assess process maturity and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead and participate in process reviews and internal checks to ensure audit readiness and quality standards are embedded.
• Analyze process performance trends, develop metrics, and evaluate the effectiveness of engineering KPIs (e.g., FPQ, Process findings).
• Develop and document process enhancements, plans, and optimization strategies for complex engineering challenges.
• Conduct benchmarking and advanced analyses (e.g., APQP) to assess and improve process capability and standardization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, support leadership reviews, and facilitate workshops on compliance and process enhancement.
• Prepare executive‑level reports and presentations to communicate progress, findings, and planned initiatives.
• Work under general guidance (Level
  3) or minimal direction (Level
  4).
• Travel up to 10% of the time and work on‑site five days per week.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non‑US equivalent directly related to the work.
• 3+ years of experience in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or Process Engineering preferred).
• 3+ years of experience creating, developing, and maintaining engineering processes.
• 3+ years of experience in project management (scope, schedule, risk, communication, coordination, execution, and control).
• 3+ years of experience working with cross‑functional or cross‑organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions.

• 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience.
• 1+ years of experience developing and managing metrics and supporting Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and applying Lean principles.
• 3+ years of direct experience supporting programs and/or platforms within BCA, BDS, or BGS.
• Familiarity with program standards, policies, and procedures within a Boeing business unit.
• Experience working within a production system, capability team, and/or technical statements of work (SOWs) with a focus on quality.

• Summary Pay Range for Experienced‑level (Level3): $93,500–$144,900.
• Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level4): $113,900–$177,100.
