What You Will DoThis role is a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO‑E) Engineer in Hot Section Engineering, acting as an onsite engineering liaison for Pratt & Whitney’s military customers at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City. You will represent the CIPT for Exhaust Nozzle hardware.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the onsite MRO representative of the CIPT, supporting engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.
- Perform design and structural evaluations using PW Engineering Standard Work (ESW).
- Monitor and trend hardware health for limit updates, Component Improvement Program (CIP) and repair task activities.
- Provide assistance to Customer Support Engineering (CSE) and base personnel with field support, quality issues and logistics planning.
- Travel 10% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and management levels.
- Ability to focus on results and drive tasks to completion with a team.
- Knowledge of nozzle hardware.
- Knowledge of USAF maintenance procedures and processes.
