Instrumentation Flight Test Engineer – Oklahoma City, OK
The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking an Instrumentation Flight Test Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves working on Boeing Mobility, Surveillance, & Bomber portfolio products. Key responsibilities include test planning, configuration control, test conduct, as well as data collection and analysis to assure product safety, performance, and regulatory certification during all flight and ground tests.

Position Responsibilities- Designs test hardware, software, and systems to achieve test requirements
- Develops and maintains data system architecture, both Electrical and Mechanical
- Supports fabrication, configuration, build, installation, and checkout of data system
- Operates data system on aircraft ground tests and flight tests
- Maintains, troubleshoots, and performs configuration control of data system
- Supports aircraft refurbishment and data system de-mod
- Collaborates across a broad spectrum of individuals and disciplines
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 3+ years of experience in flight test, laboratory testing, data analysis, instrumentation, system integration, and/or simulation
- Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with Accelerometers, Pressure sensors, Temperature sensors, Strain gages, Position sensors, and Flowmeters
- Understanding of mechanical design and the ability to decipher engineering drawings
Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level
2): $79,050 – $106,950
Summary Pay Range for Experienced level (Level
3): $96,050 – $129,950
