Senior Manager – Structures & Air Vehicle Integration
Position within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&
B) overseeing the Executive Transport & Surveillance (ET&S) Structures and Air Vehicle Integration team.
- Lead Structures engineering execution across VC25A, E-4B, C-32, C40, Global Head of State and US International AWACS programs.
- Act as primary technical interface for Program Management Office, Integrated Product Team, and USAF customers.
- Drive air vehicle technical integration across multidisciplinary teams and ensure alignment with certification, safety, and quality standards.
- Provide leadership in structural integrity analysis, static, fatigue, damage tolerance, and design.
- Develop and execute project plans, operational goals, process improvements, and manage supplier technical interactions.
- Lead staffing, talent development, performance management and mentorship.
- Champion safety review board activities, engineering change packages, earned‑value management and cost & schedule performance.
- Promote digital engineering, continuous improvement, inclusion, psychological safety, and open communication.
- B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials).
- Minimum 5 years of aerospace engineering experience and 3 years of formal engineering team leadership.
- Preferred: 10+ years in Mechanical/Structural/Payloads/Design or Analysis engineering.
- Experience with airplane structural design, analysis, and certification processes.
- Proficient with Boeing Common Non‑Recurring Product Development (C‑NRPD).
- Excellent communication skills, ability to present to senior leadership, customers, and technical boards.
- Commitment to inclusive, psychologically safe workplace culture.
- Commercial platform experience with 787, 777, 737, 747, 767, and/or 707.
Oklahoma City, OK – 100% onsite, 1st shift. Salary range: $183,600 – $248,400. Relocation assistance available based on eligibility.
Security clearance: U.S. citizenship required; interim and final U.S. Secret clearance post‑start required.
