Job SummaryThe Field Supervisor / Project Manager owns commercial HVAC projects from scope development through final commissioning. This is a field-first role — roughly 70% in the field and 30% project management. Most days are spent leading the crew on the jobsite: direct supervision, hands-on assistance, quality control, and customer coordination during execution. The remainder is pre-project planning, job costing, equipment procurement, and scope review.
This is not a clipboard role - we don't do new building construction.
We need someone who has done the retrofit work, understands the systems deeply, and can run a crew through complex chiller replacements, hydronic retrofits, and mechanical upgrades in occupied commercial buildings. The right person has spent a career in the trade, carries the technical credibility to earn a crew's respect on day one, and has the organizational instincts to keep multiple jobs moving without losing track of any of them.
A core part of this role is developing the people around you. PTM's Project Technician team is strong and growing — this person will be expected to mentor, coach, and draw on their own experience to share knowledge with the next generation of project techs.
