Air Vehicle Engineering Integrator – Experienced (Level
3)
Location:
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Mission:
Provide integrated engineering solutions for aircraft modification and sustainment for the Executive Transport, AWACS, Bombers and AEW&C programs.
- Provide engineering leadership and technical integration to the Air Vehicle Engineering Capabilities team, representing Airframe, Airplane Systems, Flight Systems, Electrical Design and Integration (EDI), and Manufacturing skill areas.
- Review and compile Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) with AV impacts prior to the Chief Engineering Council technical coordination of AV ECR packages.
- Coordinate supplier interfaces, including multi-disciplinary integration (e.g., EDI, Structures, Mechanical Systems).
- Support requirement decomposition and allocation for AV teams, including certification requirements and plans for the Certification Plan Worksheet (CPWS) coordination.
- Coordinate Flight/Test Mission Assurance Readiness Reviews (F/TMARR) for Air Vehicle teams.
- Drive integration between Air Vehicle and supporting teams.
- Develop proposals for Air Vehicle and ensure Basis of Estimates (BOEs) / Estimate at Completion (EAC) technical scope is well integrated.
- Identify performance metrics and plan, identify, and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or program.
- Define plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.
- Compare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.
- Provide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.
- Work under general direction.
100% onsite required at the listed location.
Security ClearanceRequires ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, with the US Government requiring US Citizenship. Interim and/or final US Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of related work experience
- Experience working across a team representing multiple skill areas with internal and external resources and customers.
- Experience with complex systems development and integration.
- Experience leading project execution to complete the work statement.
- Experience with the implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics (e.g., DOORS, CAMEO).
- Experience with Model Based Engineering.
- Experience with Agile/JIRA.
- Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) projects.
- Troubleshooting engineering skills.
