Key Responsibilities
- Structures engineering execution across programs
- Primary structures engineering interface to the Program Management Office, Integrated Product Team Leader, and the customer
- Lead Air Vehicle technical integration across teams
- Supplier and aircraft operations interface
- Serve as primary engineering technical interface with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams, and USAF customers
- Guide technical integration across Air Vehicle disciplines, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, certification and safety standards
- Provide leadership in structural integrity analysis (static, fatigue, and damage tolerance), design leadership, and product development
- Develop and execute project plans, operational goals, and process improvements; manage supplier technical interactions
- Lead staffing planning, talent development, performance management, and mentoring to build strong teams
- Drive a culture of inclusion, psychological safety, and open communication regarding safety, quality, and schedule concerns
- Support Safety Review Board activities and Engineering Change Package development
- Monitor and manage cost and schedule performance via Earned Value Management
- Champion adoption of digital engineering, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration initiatives
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering roles
- Minimum 3 years of formal experience leading engineering teams
- 10+ years of aerospace industry experience in Mechanical, Structural, Payloads, Design, or Analysis engineering
- Experience with airplane structural design and analysis
- Demonstrated expertise with aerospace certification processes and standards
- Proficiency in Boeing Common Non‑Recurring Product Development (C‑NRPD)
- Exceptional communication skills, experienced in presenting to senior leadership, customers, and technical boards
- Committed to fostering an inclusive, psychologically safe workplace culture
- Commercial platform experience in 787, 777, 737, 747, 767 and/or 707

Security ClearanceRequires ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship required. Post‑start U.S. Secret clearance required.

Benefits and PaySummary pay range: $183,600 – $248,400.
