Electrical Engineer
Our client is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of high-quality building systems across a diverse portfolio of projects. This role blends technical design leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, and client engagement within a collaborative, people-focused engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical system design from schematic through construction documents using Revit and related tools
- Design power distribution, lighting, controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage building systems
- Perform engineering calculations including load analysis, fault current, and coordination studies
- Coordinate with architects and engineering disciplines to ensure code-compliant, constructible designs
- Support construction administration including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related ABET-accredited program
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license; EITs pursuing licensure may be considered
- 4+ years of experience designing electrical systems for building projects
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and standard engineering software
- Strong understanding of applicable building and electrical codes
