Customer Support Engineer (CSE)

The TF33 engine program that powers the B-52 Stratofortress and E-3 (AWACS), has an opening for a Customer Support Engineer (CSE). This role will be responsible for providing technical support to the United States and International Air Force customers.
Military Customer Support and Services (MCSS) is seeking a motivated individual to help enhance fleet readiness for customers operating TF33 engines, which are in service on the B-52, E-3 and other surveillance aircraft.
You will inherit a broad set of responsibilities, and will work with other team members to focus on the following efforts:
- Act as primary technical interface between Pratt & Whitney and all TF33 customers.
- Provide complete timely responses to customer and FSR technical questions and track in appropriate systems.
- Research technical issues and correct source data to resolve systems level issues, coordinate with program management and customers to implement solutions to improve engine safety and readiness.
- Support coordination and participate in company teams sent out to customer locations for special inspections, data collection, evaluation of designs, etc.
- Prepare & present Maintenance Awareness Briefing (MAB) briefings to USAF and foreign military services (FMS).
- Drive integration across various teams, including the USAF, P&W Program Office, Contracts, Military Engines Finance, and various P&W Engineering organizations.
- Provide rapid responses to significant field events and address issues impacting aircraft and engine mission capability.
- Communicate daily with Field Service Engineers to troubleshoot engine and software issues, providing technical support for operational units, flight test locations, and aircraft depots.
- Provide Support on other legacy engines programs in limited use.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience to include driving integration across various teams, including the USAF, P&W Program Office, Contracts, Military Engines Finance, and various P&W Engineering organizations.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DOD Secret Clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen as only Citizens are able to obtain a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
- Familiarity with CORE tools, global trade requirements responsibilities.
- Experience with engine systems operation
- Flexibility and strong organizational skills to handle urgent field requests.
- U.S. Military Aircraft/Engine Maintenance experience is a plus.
- Ability to develop and present material to cross-functional teams and upper-level management.
- The candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in technical writing.
- Occasional weekend and off-hour support may be needed to support the operational fleet and depot facilities.
- Travel: 20-30%
