Equipment Specialist
The Equipment Specialist will support operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment initiatives for projects related to the KC-46 platform. This role requires a detailed understanding of aviation systems and the ability to manage documentation, logistics, and issue resolution for ground support equipment and components related to the aircraft. On our team, you’ll provide product configuration services for manufacturing operations and processes to meet business needs and requirements.
You’ll apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge, and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. You’ll work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.
- Support operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment initiatives for KC-46 platform projects.
- Manage documentation, logistics, and issue resolution for ground support equipment and components related to aircraft.
- Provide product configuration services for manufacturing operations and processes.
- Apply consulting skills and technical expertise to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Mentor and supervise team members.
- Experience with aircraft systems, maintenance, and ground support equipment for air refueling platforms.
- Knowledge of technical data analysis and ability to recommend improvements to equipment and processes.
- Ability to conduct equipment testing, troubleshooting, and repair in aerospace environments.
- Secret clearance (required).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with aircraft systems, components, and technical data, including maintenance manuals, technical orders, and schematics.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations, Air Force standards, and related safety protocols.
- Ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and corrective action processes for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) or equivalent Military Mechanic Certification.

Secret clearance is required.
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $ (annualized USD).
