Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Systems Engineer located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Systems Engineer will coordinate and collaborate with diverse engineering design teams to provide imaginative, technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems in establishing and managing the technical baseline in support of review milestones. The candidate will execute tasks in system engineering functions, requiring systems thinking and working knowledge of the full development life-cycle processes that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Candidates must exhibit strong leadership characteristics in coordinating with multiple teams and managing tasks.

Basic Qualifications
  • Must have a 2 year Bachelor’s in Science; 0 years with Master’s.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance with a background investigation date within 6 years.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Note:

This position may be filled at the Systems Engineer level. The position is contingent upon verification of DoD Secret clearance and obtainment of SAP clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference for Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Engineering Physics.
  • Master’s Degree.
  • Knowledge of Agile Framework.
  • Experience working on military aircraft or spacecraft systems.
  • Experience developing, managing, and decomposing requirements.
  • Experience in system architecture, CONOPs, or model-based system engineering.
  • Experience in ICD development and integration.
  • Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills.
  • Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders.
  • Scripting experience.
  • RF/Radio/Communication experience.
  • Tactical Data Link experience.
  • Network engineering experience.
Compensation and Benefits

Primary level salary range: $75,100.00 - $. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a variety of factors when determining base salary offers such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results.
