Job DescriptionNorthrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector seeks an Associate Electrical Engineer or Electrical Engineer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The position is part of Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS), providing sustainment support for U.S. Air Force B‑1, KC‑135, and other Government platforms. The role involves engineering, reverse engineering, and logistics solutions to address obsolescence problems and ensure warfighter supportability.
Responsibilities- Analyze complex electronic circuitry and precision electro‑mechanical assemblies through simulation or analysis to recommend component substitutions or re‑design solutions that ensure platform integrity, system safety, and performance specifications.
- Access, interpret, and recommend changes to engineering drawings.
- Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test.
- T01:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. - T02:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. - Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) secret security clearance.
- Ability to obtain/maintain base access to Tinker AFB.
- Experience with aerospace systems.
- Experience with SKILL or Python.
- Experience with RF systems.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware components.
- Experience with CAD or similar design tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
Primary Level Salary Range: $62,300.00 - $93,500.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00
