** Mechanical System Analysis Engineer (Experienced or Lead)
** to join the  
** Airplane Systems Engineering
** team located in  
** Oklahoma City, Oklahoma** .

A successful member of this team will understand and execute modifications and upgrades for the Airborne Surveillance Command and Control (ASC2) program.

* Position Responsibilities:

* ** Experienced Level (Level
3)*
* - Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design

- Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups

- Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications

- Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals

- Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation

- Trains others

- Works under general direction.

** Lead Level (Level
4)*
* - Leads and provides technical quality review of the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems and thermal environment to establish the system design

- Leads activities to validate and verify mechanical and fluid systems requirements

- Leads the development, maintenance or modification of system components' designs/proposals to provide installation and detail documentation

- Performs and documents analyses

- Manages supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals

- Prioritizes, delegates and tracks performance and documentation of analyses of mechanisms/landing gear/ordnance components and systems selecting appropriate methods to validate or assess the design

- Supports proposal preparation and new business development efforts

- Trains and coaches others

- Works under minimal direction.

* - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)

- Practical experience and knowledge of Environmental Control Systems (ECS)

- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and analysis

- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

** Lead Level (Level
4)*
* - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)

- Hands-on experience and proficient knowledge of Environmental Control Systems (ECS)

- 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and analysis

- Ability to lead a team and mentor engineers

- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

** Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):*
* - Active U.S. Secret Clearance

- FORTRAN or Sinda Fluent experience

- Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) or Finite Difference Thermal Analysis

- ECS testing experience

- Qualification and Certification experience with FAA or EASA

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong presentation and documentation skills

- Experience with analytical, communication and problem-solving skills

- Willingness to travel internationally.
