Position: MP&P Engineer 4 - OK

MP&P Engineer

This position involves providing general Materials and Processes Engineering guidance for the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP). The role focuses on supporting design reviews, fabrication, and production of electrical/electronic boxes, assemblies, and wiring interconnect systems.

Salary Range: $80 - $85/hr. (Competitive, based on experience)

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

  • Experience with engineering drawing reviews
  • Knowledge in the selection of materials, processes, and standard parts for wire harness/assembly/installation design
  • Proficiency in the fabrication and production of electrical/electronic boxes
  • Background in Aerospace electrical wiring
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Qualifications:

  • Previous relevant experience is preferred but not required

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Oklahoma City MS&B Materials and Processes Team
  • Complete engineering drawing reviews and assist with program specifications updates
  • Respond to program inquiries involving electrical wiring and electrical part selection
  • Define requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes used in product design, manufacture, and maintenance
  • Lead production of specifications and other documents for tool, equipment, materials, parts, and process deployment
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for potential application to business needs
  • Manage test and audit programs to qualify suppliers
  • Conduct complex analysis to determine performance or reasons for failures of tools, materials, parts, or processes
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Lead design, development, and qualification of sophisticated computer and production systems
  • Use project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements
  • Incorporate environmental health and safety, LEAN, and Quality principles into materials and processes, research, design and qualification, work procedures, and labs and office areas
  • Lead others and work statement, assist defining strategies and/or provide consultation
