Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a company focused on advanced defense aviation, executive transport, and military aircraft modernization. This position is onsite in Oklahoma City, OK
. The Systems Engineer will support systems verification, requirements development, and test strategy across complex aircraft platforms, ensuring mission-critical systems meet performance and certification standards.
This is a high-impact role supporting next‑generation defense capabilities, including advanced avionics, radar systems, and secure communication technologies.
- Develop, decompose, and allocate system requirements while maintaining traceability
- Support system architecture, functional analysis, and MBSE-driven design activities
- Ensure verification & validation activities meet success criteria, including test planning and data analysis
- Participate in technical reviews, cross-functional teams, and customer engagements
- Produce SEIT deliverables including requirements documentation, architecture models, and technical reports
- 2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, verification & validation, or related engineering field
- Experience with MBSE and requirements tools (CAMEO, Rhapsody, DOORS, or similar)
- Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle, requirements management, and testing methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- Salary Range: $130,000 – $140,000+ depending on experience
