Manufacturing Engineering Planner - Help Build the Future of Aviation

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Planner for a 6-month consulting opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK
.

If you have a background in manufacturing planning, aircraft structures, and process improvement, this is an exciting opportunity to support a major aircraft modernization program. You'll work closely with engineering and production teams to develop efficient manufacturing plans that help keep critical aerospace projects on schedule and on budget.

Position Details

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Planner

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (6 Months)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: Starting at $52.05 per hour

Work Schedule: 9/80 Schedule Available

What You'll Do
  • Develop and update manufacturing plans, installation plans, and work instructions for aircraft structural modifications.
  • Review engineering drawings and translate design requirements into production processes.
  • Conduct producibility and manufacturability reviews.
  • Create and maintain production documentation, procedures, and assembly checklists.
  • Support installation planning and part demand activities for aircraft structures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, tooling, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturing readiness.
  • Analyze production data, identify improvement opportunities, and support corrective actions.
  • Maintain planning data and documentation within manufacturing systems and PLM tools.
  • Help resolve technical and production-related issues while supporting program schedules and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of related manufacturing engineering or planning experience.
  • Experience with:
  • REDARS
  • GOLDesp
  • Microsoft Excel
  • CATIA
  • Model-Based Instructions
  • Experience reviewing engineering drawings and developing manufacturing plans.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies:
    1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or
    2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced experience with REDARS, GOLDesp, CATIA, IVT, and Model-Based Instructions.
  • Experience supporting aircraft structural modifications or manufacturing programs.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and solve complex manufacturing challenges.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and project planning skills.

Pay Details: $52.05 per hour
