A successful member of this team will understand and execute modifications and upgrades for the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B) programs. The successful candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Fuels system of the B-52, providing expertise in design and sustainment. Position Responsibilities :
* Lead the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment
* Lead the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers
* Perform detailed design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations
* Prepare technical documents for mechanical components and systems
* Prepare proposal and new business development efforts
* Work with test program management for work estimation and intake process
* Delegate tasks to design team and provide supervision to junior engineers. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
* 9+ years of experience in mechanical systems design
* Practical experience and knowledge of Fuels, Hydraulic Systems, or ECS .
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Experience with and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience reading and interpreting engineering schematics, and specifications
* Experience performing Mechanical System Design and Analysis
* 3+ years of experience designing tooling using CAD/CAM software, preferably CATIA
* Experience producing technical reports and presentations
* Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills
* Familiarity with engineering processes and methods
* Experience working with cross functional teams Conflict of Interest:
