F135 Compression Systems Engineer; Onsite

Senior Engineer

Pratt & Whitney's (P&W) Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) group, Designers of advanced Fans and High Pressure Compressors, is currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Engineer to join its team in support of the F135 Sustainment Program at Tinker AFB, OK.

What You Will Do

• Work as the onsite Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Engineer supporting engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.
• Support and participate in projects aimed at implementing designs, inspections, and repairs that meet advanced engine-specific requirements in operational service.
• Interface directly with the customer, the Joint Program Office of the Air Force, Navy, and Marines.
• Conduct inspections and summarize and document findings in accordance with P&W procedures.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience OR
• Advanced Degree in Engineering with 3+ years relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advanced Degree in engineering
• Design and/or Structures experience
• Knowledge of composite design and analysis technology, as well as manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods for composites.
• Possess strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and organizational skills
