A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer (PE) to join its Oklahoma team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects while providing technical expertise in geotechnical investigations, analysis, design, project management, and client relations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct geotechnical field investigations and evaluate subsurface soil and rock conditions.
- Perform engineering analyses related to shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, and site development.
- Develop drilling and testing programs and interpret laboratory and field data.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, recommendations, and technical documentation.
- Provide construction-phase support and special inspections as required.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, invoicing, and overall project financial performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and local agencies.
- Support business development initiatives and participate in industry events and professional organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required;
Oklahoma PE or ability to obtain preferred. - 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Experience with geotechnical investigations, foundation design, site preparation evaluations, drilling programs, and engineering analyses.
- Knowledge of slope stability assessments, earthwork, and construction observations.
- Strong communication, project management, and client-facing skills.
