Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Staff Electronics Engineer. This onsite position is in Oklahoma City, OK. The engineer Electronics will be responsible for developing and executing the program. Essential functions include:

  • Performing and executing Statement of Work (SOW) as a Responsible Engineer (RE) for Radar Avionics Subsystem(s)
  • Managing the program requirements to ensure supplier compliance with program and AV design, test, document and Avionics Weapons subsystems hardware requirements
  • Documenting designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications
  • Collaborating with subcontract engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements
  • Working to develop design solutions for obsolete hardware
  • Travel up to 25%

Basic qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 10 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. (STEM) AND 8 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP). This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related engineering experience;
    Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP). This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Primary level salary range: $ - $. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
