- Develop 3D CAD models, detail parts, assembly and integration drawings
- Coordinate and liaise mechanical engineering designs through procurement and manufacturing
- Coordinate and liaise electrical design integration and assembly
- Lead and coordinate hardware integration in a laboratory environment
- Develop documentation supporting designs and product lifecycle management
- Support troubleshooting and system verification in a laboratory setting
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Develop custom testing solutions and specialized support equipment for the B-2 Stealth Bomber and other platforms
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related professional/military experience, or Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related professional/military experience for Level 2
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience, or Master’s Degree and 3 years, or Ph.D. and 1 year for Level 3
- Active DoD Secret or higher clearance
- Background investigation completed within the last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable timeframe
- Experience developing mechanical designs using CATIA V5, Solid Works, NX, AutoCAD, or similar tools
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
- Preferred:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field - Preferred:
Professional experience in aerospace and defense - Preferred:
Active Top Secret clearance - Preferred:
Active Program access - Preferred:
Mechanical design experience using CATIA V5 - Preferred:
Experience with PLM systems - Preferred:
Experience in Additive Manufacturing or 3D print design and technologies - Preferred:
Hardware integration experience in a laboratory environment - Preferred:
Experience working in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
Demonstrates expertise in developing 3D CAD models and mechanical designs, with proficiency in tools such as CATIA V5 and Solid Works. Capable of leading hardware integration in laboratory environments while ensuring compliance with defense industry standards.
