  • Manage end-to-end air permitting and regulatory approvals for Power Innovation projects
  • Develop permitting strategies and coordinate across technical, legal, and regulatory teams
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and track obligations through development and construction
  • Evaluate new project opportunities, including location-related challenges and limitations
  • Identify and secure required air permits and approvals
  • Advise on permit conditions and compliance strategies
  • Prepare assets for operational handoff
  • Lead air permitting analysis and application development for natural gas-fired power generation
  • Support scoping of prospective opportunities and evaluate feasibility and permitting pathways across multiple states
  • Assess permitting risks, provide recommendations, and participate in or lead approved courses of action
  • Work with operations to develop permit conditions and compliance strategies
  • Maintain, improve, and provide guidance on environmental processes and policies
  • Coordinate environmental planning, scheduling, and cost estimating
  • Prepare air permitting and air modeling impact assessments
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to others
  • Participate in industry associations and environmental communities
  • Lead complex, high-risk projects or programs, including execution strategy and resource requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Environmental Specialist III: minimum 4 years’ air permitting and compliance experience
  • Environmental Specialist IV: minimum 8 years’ air permitting and compliance experience
  • Environmental Specialist V: minimum 15 years’ air permitting and compliance experience
