Loss Control Analyst – Operational Security

Full Time M-F, 8am-5pm

POSITION SUMMARY

The Loss Control Analyst position is an investigative position that will assist Banc First Operational Security Management with operational loss prevention, detection, investigation, and recovery activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Develop and maintain processes to address loss prevention, operational risks, and compliance.
• Assist with the design and implementation of risk detection or monitoring systems.
• Stay abreast of risk developments that could impact Banc First or its customers.
• Review and research reports and/or alerts pertaining to various potential fraud related activities and investigate as necessary.
• Manage and maintain investigations through a case management system.
• Support Bank personnel in their efforts to minimize operational risk and losses.
• Support the formulation and execution of loss prevention education efforts.
• Interface with law enforcement officials and other external parties.
• Assist Operational Security Management in additional job‑related tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work under limited supervision, with latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Banking/Audit experience preferred but not required.
• Investigations experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of these programs is a plus.
• Must possess the ability to perform in a highly sensitive environment and deal with confidential matters.
