Tinker Federal Credit Union’s Tri City branch has an immediate opening for a Branch Operations Assistant

As a Branch Operations Assistant
, you will be responsible for the following:
- Consistently providing an atmosphere of high-quality member service
- Supporting credit union sales efforts and performing basic transactions for members with regard to products and services
- Consulting with members and providing solutions to match their needs
- Projecting a positive image as representative for the credit union in receiving visitors and guests
- Completing various tasks within the branch including but not limited to; answering phones, processing mail, and working as a safe deposit representative
- Ensuring all information and transactions regarding credit union members are kept confidential and ensuring established security procedures are followed
Salary Range
:
This is a non-exempt position. The starting hourly rate is $20.00 per hour; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Schedule
:
Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, rotating Saturdays 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Education/Experience
:
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
and one-year applicable work experience in a related position is preferred. Financial institution experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
:
- Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority
- TFCU University certification required and completed

, you must possess these qualifications:
- A passion for helping customers and working with a cohesive team to accomplish excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to learn and perform different functions of the role including cross-training into other areas as well.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and stay organized.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of TFCU products and services.
- Knowledge of privacy procedures, confidentiality guidelines and cash handling standards.
- Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment.
- Basic computer skills and preferably experience with Microsoft Office.
