Position: ACH Payment Services Manager

The ACH Payment Services Manager is responsible for facilitating and overseeing daily ACH and wire operations related to electronic payment services including share drafts, ACH, and wire transactions and managing the team/workload in this area. Ensures compliance with regulations, maintains updated procedures and supports branches, members, and internal teams regarding electronic payment inquiries.

Who You Are
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft professional reports and correspondence using proper grammar.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret documents such as regulations, and internal policies.
  • Proficiency in intermediate mathematical concepts, including decimals, percentages, and fractions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for engaging with members, external parties, and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Proficient in MSR Word & Excel, w/advanced proficiency in core financial software applications.
What You Will Do
  • Maintain a strong and compliant ACH program while supporting expansion into a multi-payment ecosystem.
  • Provide governance and oversight of payment services across ACH, real time payments (RTP/Fed Now), wires and Stablecoin.
  • Serve as lead compliance subject matter expert for all payment-related policies & procedures.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update procedures accordingly.
  • Resolve account discrepancies in a timely and professional manner, handling inquiries, adjustments, and related correspondence.
  • Manage unposted errors and exception items efficiently.
  • Execute tasks associated with additional programs as assigned.
  • Serve as a resource for branch staff, providing guidance on electronic payment service-related inquiries.
Leadership Responsibilities

Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned departments. Manage subordinates and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education & Experience
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience with financial institution.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience with financial institution, Electronic Payments exposure highly preferred.
  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification preferred.
  • Combination of relevant education, training, and experience that supports the required competencies.
  • Previous supervisor/management experience strongly preferred.
