Indirect Tax Analyst II - Tax Technology

Welcome to Love's! Our indirect tax team is looking for an Indirect Tax Analyst II to manage tax compliance with expanded duties in reconciliations, audits, and tax research. This position is based onsite at our corporate office located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Job Functions:
- Independently prepare and file indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
- Conduct more complex reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Respond to state notices and assist in tax audits with minimal supervision.
- Research and interpret tax regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist in maintaining tax software configurations and updates.
- Provide input on process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- Mentor and provide guidance to Indirect Tax Analyst I team members.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Experience and Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
- 2-4 years of related experience.
Skills:
- Hard skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Advanced proficiency in Excel and tax software including Avalara, Vertex, SRA, and SAP - Soft Skills:
Effective communication skills Ability to manage workload independently
Typical Physical Demands:
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
