SBA Loan Closing Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Professional customer communication: on the telephone, e-mail, and in person
• Order preliminary title policy, UCC searches, Flood Certificates, environmental reports, and other related data
• Coordinates with loan officer regarding closing conditions and requirements.
• Preparation of loan documents, primarily using Laser Pro
• Facilitates loan closings
• Perfection of all collateral liens (U.C.C., Real Estate, Titled Vehicles)
• Upload all executed documents to designated computer drive
• Problem and error resolution
• Refer relevant customers to other Banc First service providers (Insurance, Trust, Merchant Services, etc.) if not done so by the Loan Officer
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned

• Knowledge of loan documentation and loan policy and procedure, along with the SBA SOP
• Ensure compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures
• Knowledge of loan underwriting principles
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and other related applications
• Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines
• Demonstrate above average problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude
• Able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
