Financial Manager
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Finance to provide strategic and operational financial leadership for a global manufacturing organization. This individual will serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, helping drive growth, profitability, operational performance, and key business decisions.
The ideal candidate will bring significant finance leadership experience within a large, publicly traded company, along with a strong manufacturing and operational finance background. This is a highly visible, hands‑on leadership role requiring someone who can operate with a sense of urgency, adapt to changing business conditions, communicate effectively at the executive level, and confidently influence decisions across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, providing financial insight and guidance on business strategy, growth initiatives, and operational decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, financial modeling, and overall performance management.
- Provide financial leadership across P&L performance, including revenue, margins, operating expenses, cash flow, working capital, and capital investments.
- Partner closely with operational and functional leaders to identify opportunities for growth, margin improvement, cost efficiency, and increased profitability.
- Translate financial and operational performance into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for senior and corporate leadership.
- Develop and monitor key financial and operational indicators to anticipate trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support M&A activities and business integrations, including financial evaluation and post‑acquisition performance.
- Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting and maintain strong financial controls and compliance with applicable accounting requirements.
- Partner effectively with corporate finance and other business leaders across a complex, global organization.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing finance team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Remain hands‑on and adaptable while helping leadership navigate changing priorities and difficult business decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive Finance and/or Accounting experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
- Current or recent experience within a large, publicly traded company is required.
- Strong manufacturing and operational finance experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading finance for a significant business, division, business unit, or multi‑location operation.
- Meaningful P&L ownership or P&L leadership experience.
- Strong background in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, strategic planning, and operational finance.
- Demonstrated M&A and business integration experience.
- Experience supporting a global business, with an understanding of the complexities of operating across multiple international markets.
- Proven ability to serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and influence both financial and operational decisions.
- Strong executive communication skills with the presence, confidence, and judgment to communicate effectively across business and corporate leadership.
- Proven ability to lead and develop finance professionals while maintaining a collaborative, team‑oriented leadership style.
- Ability to operate with urgency, remain adaptable, and take a hands‑on approach when needed.
