About the Advanced Power Alliance
The Advanced Power Alliance represents companies building power generation across ERCOT, the Southwest Power Pool region, and the Southeast of the United States — wind, solar, natural gas, battery energy storage, and emerging technologies. We advocate for an all‑of‑the‑above energy strategy because electricity demand is growing, and the states we work in need every megawatt of generation capacity they can get.
Our job is to make sure policymakers understand what it takes to attract and retain the investments that keep the lights on, the grid reliable, and electricity affordable. The states’ economies and energy consumers are counting on us.
APA is widely regarded as a highly effective and strategically disciplined organization in the states where we operate.
