Athletic Trainer

The Athletic Department seeks two Athletic Trainers to provide comprehensive health care for student-athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. Reporting to the Athletic Director, this role collaborates with coaches, physicians, and staff to ensure athlete safety and well-being across all sports. Responsibilities include travel with teams, emergency care, maintaining medical records, coordinating physical exams, and educating athletes on wellness.

Trainers will support departmental initiatives, supervise interns, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and NAIA/NCAA guidelines. Minimum three years’ collegiate training experience required; higher education, internship, or OCU experience preferred. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills essential.
