HOPE Community Services, Inc. is a leading outpatient treatment provider in south Oklahoma City. We provide compassionate trauma-informed care to individuals whose lives have been impacted by mental health and substance use disorders. We do this by providing compassionate and evidence-based treatment, aimed at improving the quality of life for those we serve.
We are currently seeking a Therapeutic Counselor to work with children, youth, and their families, providing individual, family, and group counseling, as well as assessments and crisis intervention services. This role is perfect for professionals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and families while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
About the PositionAs a Therapeutic Counselor in the Children & Youth Program, you will provide therapeutic services tailored to meet the unique needs of children and their families. This includes conducting clinical assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and developing individualized recovery plans. You will collaborate with families to promote healthy development and prevent out-of-home placements. This role also involves maintaining up-to-date documentation, working collaboratively with team members, and ensuring services are culturally competent and developmentally appropriate.
Aboutthe Children & Youth Program
The Children & Youth Program at HOPE focuses on providing comprehensive, child-centered care that supports both the individual child and their family. We aim to empower children and youth to overcome barriers, develop coping skills, and improve their overall well-being.
Requirements- Current license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADC) in Oklahoma, or a master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field with eligibility for licensure supervision.
- Experience working with children and youth in a clinical setting.
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide individual, family, and group therapy for children and youth.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals.
- Experience working collaboratively in a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented environment.
- May require First Aid, CPR, and Therapeutic Options certifications.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and provide on-call support as needed.
- Willingness to provide services in community settings and transport clients as necessary.
