  • Reviewing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and understanding the setup and service requirements for each event.
  • Preparing assigned bar and service areas accurately and efficiently according to event specifications.
  • Setting tables and service areas correctly and uniformly.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and service station throughout each event.
  • Greeting guests warmly and providing professional, attentive beverage service.
  • Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established service standards.
  • Assisting Banquet Captains with setting up and breaking down buffets, bars, and other special food and beverage service areas.
  • Supporting proper clearing and breakdown of service equipment, trays, and banquet areas.
  • Following all guest check, cash-handling, and payment procedures accurately.
  • Reviewing checks carefully, ensuring accuracy, and obtaining the appropriate guest signature when required.
  • Completing assigned side work and helping maintain a polished event environment.
  • Communicating with Banquet Captains, Servers, Culinary Curators, and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Jumping in wherever needed to support the team and keep service moving efficiently.

Education and Experience

  • Previous banquet, bartending, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Two or more years of banquet experience preferred.
  • Previous bartending or beverage service experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banquet event execution and beverage service standards.
  • Ability to read and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event setup instructions.
  • Strong planning, organization, and guest service skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
