Job Summary:

The HR Business Partner provides comprehensive day-to-day human resources support to employees, ensures consistent application of HR policies, compliant employment practices, and effective workforce operations. The role serves as a trusted advisor on employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, benefits guidance, and policy interpretation, manages the full recruitment lifecycle, maintains HR data and records, and contributes to HR reporting and operational initiatives.

This role requires in-person presence at the designated workplace in Oklahoma City, with no remote or hybrid options.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field [official transcripts required upon hire];

  • Four (4) years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role with a solid understanding of HR practices and procedures;

  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PHSRA-CP or SHRM-CP;

  • Experience in public sector human resources;

  • Experience utilizing HR Roles in Workday.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license from a U.S. state or territory to perform necessary job-related travel.

  • Knowledge & Expertise: In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office. Ability to interpret applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies. Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing HR inquiries, and guiding on policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist with conflict resolution and promote a positive work culture. Support benefit-related inquiries and enrollment processes.

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, manage postings, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding. Conduct new hire orientation.

  • HR Policy Implementation & Compliance: Ensure consistent HR policy application; update and communicate policies; ensure compliance with laws. Prepare HR reports and contribute to HR projects and initiatives.

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and other systems; generate reports and analyze data for leadership insights.

  • Professional Demeanor: Maintain professionalism, integrity, and positive relationships; accept constructive feedback.

  • Attendance: Regular in-person attendance required to support teamwork and performance.

  • Innovation: Identify evolving needs and implement innovative approaches to improve outcomes in education.

  • Efficiency: Optimize processes and leverage technology to enhance productivity.
