Panhandle Oilfield Service Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist who enjoys recruiting, onboarding and working directly with employees and managers. This position will serve as the primary day-to-day HR resource for our operations across multiple locations and states.

A significant focus of this role will be full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, including partnering with managers to identify staffing needs, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, extending offers, completing pre-employment requirements and ensuring new employees have a smooth onboarding  addition to recruiting, the HR Generalist will provide broad HR support in employee relations, benefits, compliance and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruiting for positions across company locations, including job postings, sourcing, applicant screening, interviews and coordination with hiring managers.

Manage the offer and pre-employment process, including background requirements, drug testing and other position-specific requirements.

Coordinate and conduct new-hire onboarding and orientation and ensure all required employment documentation is completed.

Maintain communication with new hires and managers throughout the hiring and onboarding process.

Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers.

Assist management with employee relations, performance concerns, disciplinary actions, investigations and terminations.

Administer employee benefits, including new-hire enrollment, qualifying life events, employee questions and annual open enrollment.

Assist with 401(k) administration and employee enrollment matters.

Coordinate workers’ compensation claims, unemployment claims and related documentation.

Administer employee leaves and other time-off matters.

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HRIS information.

Support compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and company policies across multiple states.

Prepare employment verifications, personnel documentation and HR correspondence.

Assist with audits, policy administration, reporting and other HR projects.

Partner with managers throughout the company on staffing and employee-related needs.
3–5 years of broad human resources experience preferred.

Strong full-cycle recruiting and onboarding experience required.

Someone who genuinely enjoys recruiting, working with candidates and helping managers build their teams.

Experience with employee relations, benefits administration and HR compliance.

Multi-state HR experience preferred.

Experience with workers’ compensation and unemployment administration preferred.

Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.

Strong communication, organizational and follow-up skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

HRIS experience required;
Paycom experience is a plus.

Oilfield, construction, transportation or field-service experience is a plus.
