They are seeking a Principal Dev Ops Engineer to serve as a senior technical leader responsible for shaping cloud infrastructure strategy, Dev Ops best practices, and platform reliability across the organization. This is a hands-on, senior individual contributor role with broad influence across engineering, security, and product teams. You'll own high-impact architectural decisions, improve delivery velocity, and ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, and highly available as the business grows.

- Lead the design and evolution of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure supporting a production healthcare platform
- Define and champion Dev Ops standards, tooling, and best practices across engineering teams
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines that support reliable, low-risk deployments
- Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code to ensure consistency, repeatability, and auditability
- Improve observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
- Partner closely with security and compliance stakeholders to embed Dev Sec Ops practices
- Support disaster recovery, capacity planning, and operational readiness initiatives
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers while influencing Dev Ops culture across the organization
- 10+ years of experience in Dev Ops, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
- Proven experience architecting and operating complex, distributed cloud systems
- Deep expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong background in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Pulumi, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration
- Strong CI/CD experience (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction at a senior level
- Comfortable operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments
