Telecommunications​/Network Technician III Security Clearance

Description - Responsible for performing basic router and switch configurations, unpacking and packing equipment, assisting with shipping, maintaining racks and cabinets, and conducting inventory of network assets and test equipment.

• Collaborate with network engineers and program managers to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a lab environment in a safe and organized manner.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to update system data.

• Education:
  
  AAS or equivalent experience
• Experience:
  
  3+ years of related experience
• Technical certifications or coursework in networking is a plus.
• Security clearance level:
  Ability to obtain and retain a Secret clearance
• US citizenship required

• Perform basic router and switch configurations to ensure network functionality and integration.
• Unpack, pack, and assist with the shipping of network equipment.
• Maintain and organize network racks and cabinets, including moving equipment as needed.
• Conduct inventory of network assets and test equipment to ensure accurate records and availability.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of lab environments for network testing and integration.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient lab operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network equipment issues in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety and security guidelines while handling network equipment.
